I am an established mainstream published dark fantasy writer.
Apart from my Legacy of the Dark Kind series Blood Tears, Blood Lament and Blood Alliance, I have also completed a humourous high fantasy novel called Raven's Quest and have just started a new project , a high fantasy/sci fi novel called Safire.
My family are a lively creative mixture of Irish and Welsh blood.
I now live in the beautiful Chiltern Hills in Bucks, UK with my loving support team of my husband and son plus our menagerie of Spanish mares, a puppy, a cat and a tank full of tropical fish all called Neville.

Kim Bennett was a statuesque woman, thirties, with a hell of a figure because of her cardio kick boxing she had not stopped since her teens when she entered the world of S&M and found some pay to have the shit beat out of them. Pain with pleasure was her practice. Although there was no woman that would spar with her, she continued to go to the gym as often as she could to get in the ring and go a few rounds with men that were willing to take the risk of getting dropped by a woman.
She had quit the dominatrix business after twenty years of whoring, first as a submissive, and then for an number of years as San Francisco's fetish queen known for her ability to absorb pain, but found no one could take her to the edge, when she became a highly sought after Dom for the men and woman who wanted nothing more than to feel the endorphins rush through their body in the lustful blush of submission to the leather flogger.
Some great memories, unusual people, lovers. But her heart broken more times than she cared to remember, missed some of the slaves she gathered over the years. All of that was over now, or at least she told herself. But all of them special, whatever their fetish.
Because of her profession, she was a loner, friends yes, but inside an emptiness. Her mother and father past away, leaving only her half sister Robin Caruthers who owed her life to Kim, after being rescued from the basement of a pair California's most cruel and sadistic serial killers. Herself, scared from the event, after being a victim and tortured unmercifully, faced her breaking point and pushed through to become the survivor she is today, only to find out she is related to Jack the Ripper and part vampire.
