My Bio

I was born into a Georgia family of eccentrics and visionaries, and I've brought my heritage of storytelling from the Deep South to the hills of Southern California. Trained in counseling and formerly a family services caseworker with volunteer experience in disaster relief with the American Red Cross, I'm no stranger to the perverse working of the human mind. My latest novel is a kaleidoscope of strange characters, none of whom you will ever forget.

My Favorite Books / Authors

My favorite author is Pat Conroy, author of "Beach Music "and "Prince of Tides." One of the benefits of being a writer in Southern California is that there are so many good new writers in this area, and I get to read lots of creative new work.
