Q: How do I add information to the network?
A: At the top menu bar, you will see tabs labeled "Home," "Invite," "My Page," "Associations," "Members&Posts," etc... Many of the tabs have drop down menus. If you put your cursor on the "Community" tab for instance and DO NOT click, a drop down menu will appear below the tab with more sources that you can click into.


Q: My photo uploads were not approved or do not appear.
A: Other than your profile picture, pictures that you upload to photos on the network should be of book covers, CD covers or anything relating to literacy and music. If you have uploaded picutres other than this, they will not be approved. You may, of course, add any picture you like on your own profile page by placing the HTML code on your page. If you have uploaded pictures that are literarcy / music related and are still having problems, please contact one of our staff members who will be able to assist you further.

Q: How do I change my profile picture? A:From the top menu, click on MY PAGE. Once on your page, on the left side, click Change MY PHOTO. Choose the "Browse" option and upload a picture from your computer.

Q: How do I invite my friends to join me on the network?
A: Click on MY PAGE from the top menu. On the right side, click FRIENDS - INVITE. Enter your personal email address and THE PASSWORD ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR PERSONAL EMAIL. You will then see a list of all of your contacts appear. You will then be able to choose who you would like to invite to the network.

RSS Feeds
Most activity on this network has an associated RSS Feed. Please feel free to add RSS feeds to your favorite homepage or anywhere on the web to keep up with the stream of activity right from your favorite site.

Q: How do I add friends that are already on the network?
A: Click into a member's page. Under the profile picture, click on ADD AS FRIEND

Q: How do I get my name and website featured on the homepage of the network?
A:Add The Authors Society badge or a link to us on your website. Then, send Deborah Simpson the URL via a message here on the network, of where you posted and we will add you to our homepage as a supporter.
