I love doing radio!

Deborah, I enjoy radio interviews very much although I am the guest, not the interviewer. I'm not even sure how I would start one. Sounds like a great idea. I'm enjoying the blog interviews I do so...

I intend to start up the show again in October. It has been a hot summer here in the desert and on the mountain it seems to have been hotter than ever. Glad to see a site like this as being something that will provide fodder for the old mike.

Deborah,
You just hit my weak spot. I am a collector of old time radio programs and currently have over a thousand shows . Most of them are Detective or Mystery programs, but I also have some variety shows and comedies. A really good interview show is indeed a rare thing today. In fact, a really good radio show is a rare thing today. This is just the kind of thing that I would like to get involved in but the timing is bad because I just got the sequel to MEMOIRS OF BEAR:Nueces Means Nuts off the ground and I will be typing in a cave for the next few months. I promise to check in from time to time though when they let me out to eat.Good Luck with this project.

I am in the process of working up a writing Q&A show about freelance writing and writing in general.

Radio has always been my first love, ever since I was a little kid, listening to my germanium diode crystal radio, attached to the iron radiator with alligator clips. I used to do radio voice overs with many, many different impressions and dialects. My first radio commercial was for a linotype machine, and I had to create a voice for Franklin Gothic typeface. It was awesome! It played all across the country. Then, I did a series of commercials for an auto dealership, where I did half a dozen different voices on the same commercial. I love to be interviewed. If there is someone with a radio show who is looking for an author to interview, I would be totally available to discuss my best-selling Kindle book, As the Twig is Bent. I will hold my breath...LOL
