It's great for authors to do on their own, but we have a plan for anyone who doesn't want to mess with it. See the big link in he middle at our website. I have two books on Kindle and I've sold 8 copies without any promotion or marketing. Go to https://dtp.amazon.com/mn/signin
and create an account.
I found that the Kindle formats a word doc much better than a PDF or other format. So upload you manuscript as a word doc. and then upload a photo of your cover and then write your synopsis and book marketing information. You set the price of your book. Keep in mind that best sellers by known authors average $9.99 so I recommend going lower. They move you through each step so you cannot make a mistake. 72 hours later, your book is live on Amazon.com
